Water Missions International has received Charity Navigator’s four-star rating for sound fiscal management, accountability and transparency for the seventh consecutive year.
“This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Water Missions International from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust,” Charity Navigator President and CEO Ken Burger said in a statement.
Charity Navigator evaluates the financial health, accountability and transparency of more 5,000 of the country’s largest charities and then provides data-based ratings. The public can use the ratings to select charities to support.

Only 2 percent of the charities rated by the organization have received its top rating for seven years in a row.

Water Missions is a nonprofit Christian engineering organization that provides sustainable safe water and sanitation for people in developing countries and disaster areas.
It has full-time staff in nine countries: Honduras, Haiti, Mexico, Belize, Peru, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi and Indonesia. It also has provided access to safe water to more than 2.4 million people in 49 countries since 2001.
