A Moncks Corner man was killed in a fiery wreck in Berkeley County early Monday morning.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office identified him as Jesse Rouse, 30.
His Pontiac van was traveling south on Black Tom Extension about 2:15 a.m. and went off the left side of the road, hit a tree and caught fire, according to the Highway Patrol. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Rouse died at the scene of body trauma, Coroner Bill Salisbury said.
