A chicken dinner can help out the Charleston Fire Department’s Honor Guard.

The take-out dinners will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Saturday and Sunday at Station 10, which is on Savannah Highway at Nicholson Drive.

The $8 cost includes a chicken quarter, red rice, string beans and potato salad.

The honor guard represents the city across the United States at funerals for fallen firefighters, as well as in parades, conventions and other events.

Orders can be called ahead to Team Commander Eric Glover at 480-1992.
