2nd person charged in deadly Upstate hit-and-run
SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- A second person has been charged in an early morning hit-and-run accident that killed a Spartanburg woman in April.
South Carolina Highway Patrol Lt. Bill Rhyne says 30-year-old Kevin T. Miller of Spartanburg was charged Thursday with accessory after the fact of a felony.
Authorities say Miller was in the car with his girlfriend when she struck and killed a woman walking along the road. Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger says 23-year-old Jacquelyn Cara White was pronounced dead around 5:20 a.m. April 22.
Twenty-five-year-old Colleen Adaire Casey has been held without bond since she was charged in April with leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
It wasn’t known if Miller had an attorney.
