Not many of America's 160 minor league baseball teams can count on drawing extra fans by offering free T-shirts featuring a screened photo of one of their owners.

Sure, the Vermont Lake Monsters, Montgomery Biscuits and Pensacola Blue Wahoos have catchy nicknames.

They don't have Bill Murray.

The Class A Charleston RiverDogs will give Bill Murray T-shirts to the first 1,000 fans at Saturday night's game at Riley Park against the Augusta GreenJackets. The navy blue shirts feature Murray in a RiverDogs ballcap with a small WTAT Fox 24 logo on the back.

“We came up with the idea and the feel of the design from the pop culture inspired shirts of Mr. Murray that are pretty popular at The Joe and in general,” said Noel Blaha, the RiverDogs' director of promotions. “We thought we could add the cap and brand it as a RiverDogs 'Director of Fun' shirt.”

But which Bill Murray is this?

At first glance, it looks like a mix between his film roles in “Caddyshack” (iconic) and “Lost in Translation” (Academy Award nomination for Best Actor).

Blaha disagrees.

“The picture harkens back to the “Stripes” and “Ghostbusters” era and is instantly recognizable as Bill, which was the goal,” Blaha said.
