Hanahan scored three runs in the fourth inning to defeat Hartsville, 3-0, Tuesday to reach the Dixie Angels softball championship game in the traditional division at Wescott Park in North Charleston.
Tyler Henderson got the win for Hanahan, which faces Boiling Springs at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Hanahan needs to win just once to claim the division, which doesn’t allow stolen bases, while Boiling Springs would have to win twice.
Sumter will face Aynor for the x-play (stolen bases allowed) championship at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

South Carolina junior tight end Rory Anderson was named to the John Mackey Award preseason watch list. Anderson has scored eight touchdowns on 22 receptions, while averaging 20.9 yards per catch in his first two seasons with the Gamecocks.
College of Charleston freshman Carl Wise was named to the Perfect Game Freshman All-America Second Team. The corner infielder finished second on the team with a .321 batting average and led the Cougars with 10 home runs despite only starting 38 games.
