Picture a high-end rental property that's all set to move into right away.

No need to fill the place with beds, chairs, and tables; reinvigorate the lawn; or find a place to park.

Those perks are taken care of already.

Moreover, the locale is versatile, suitable for a family or an executive. And the site is in one of the more attractive communities in the Charleston region — hardly a slouch in terms of posh enclaves.

The framed townhome property that's seeking a tenant stands in Barfield Park, one of the first neighborhoods laid out in Daniel Island when the neotraditional village within the city of Charleston opened more than 15 years ago in Berkeley County.

Barfield Park is just off a main intersection on the island and sits close to Daniel Island School, Bishop Island High School, the island library and the main retail and restaurant district. Cozy, well-situated Center Park is also in the community.

For lease at $2,400 a month, the two-story residence showcases a number of interesting features. According to the owner Lee Bryan, the three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath townhome is “beautifully furnished and fully equipped.”

Providing the townhome with an even-more-spacious aura is it's an end unit. Notable interior features include hardwood floors in the kitchen, dining room and living room to name a few spots on the first floor.

The townhome is 1,842 square feet “under air,” which includes all the rooms that are heated and cooled. At the same time, the property has a sizable area that's not included in the official size. Among other things, the Barfield Park residence sports a two-car garage and front and back porches. The rear screened-in porch, meanwhile, leads to a “fenced-in and fully landscaped yard,” Bryan says.

The rental house is in one of the original sections of Daniel Island. Heading west, take Interstate 26 and angle right onto I-526 (or take I-526 from Mount Pleasant) and disembark at exit 24. Once on the island, make a right on Seven Farms Drive. At the center of town, turn left on Daniel Island Drive. The first neighborhood ahead left and right is Barfield Park.
