Berkeley County Water and Sanitation crews are working a sewage overflow in Goose Creek this afternoon.
The overflow happened in the area of North Rhett Avenue and Henry Brown Boulevard, Department of Health and Environmental Control spokesman Jim Beasley said.
Signs have been posted in the area to alert residents and Berkeley County authorities are collecting samples to test bacteria levels, Beasley said.
