Friday also was expected to be partly sunny, but with a 40 percent chance of rain. Showers and thunderstorms are possible. Highs should be in the uppper 80s, with southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
According to NOAA, the water temperature in Charleston Harbor was 81.9 degrees around 7 a.m. today.
