If you were dreaming of hearing “Good Lovin’,” “Groovin’ ” and “A Beautiful Morning” performed live in North Charleston in two weeks, your dream is over.
The Rascals reunion concert, “Once Upon a Dream,” has been canceled, according to the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center website.
Phone calls to coliseum staff regarding why have yet to be returned.
TV commercials promoting the concert have been airing locally for weeks for the legendary band that had a string of No. 1 hits in the late 1960s. The Rascals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
