Walterboro voters re-elected City Councilman Tom Lohr and also elected James Broderick and Jimmy Syfrett, according to the Waterboro Municipal Election Commission.
While Lohr won re-election, another incumbent, Dwayne Buckner, fell short, with 262 votes. Syfrett received 356 votes, while Lohr and Broderick each received 350, according to results certified today.
Others running in Tuesday’s election (in order of their finish) included: Deborah Culpepper, Nicole Holme and Dewey Griggs. Councilman Charles Lucas, who currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem, did not seek re-election.
