Charleston keeper Odisnel Cooper made two saves as the Battery and the Rochester Rhinos played to a scoreless tie before a crowd of 3,364 at Blackbaud Stadium Saturday night.
Charleston is 6-2-1 (19 points) on the season and remains in second place in the USL Pro Division. Rochester is 1-6-2 (5 points).
The Battery outshot the Rhinos, 15-4, but failed to convert on several quality scoring chances.
The Battery will face Major League Soccer’s San Jose Earthquake Tuesday night in the U.S. Open Cup beginning at 7:30 p.m., at Blackbaud Stadium.
