Four traffic lanes at Charleston International Airport will be closed for part of this week to accommodate construction.

The four lanes closest to the main passenger terminal will be closed from 5 a.m. Tuesday until 6 p.m. Wednesday, officials said today.

All ground transportation operations, including the picking up and dropping off of passengers, will be moved to the four outside lanes during this period. Airport police officers will be on hand to assist during the 37-hour closure.
