A vehicle crashed into a Wendy’s restaurant in Mount Pleasant today, police said.
The wreck happened at the restaurant at the corner of Johnnie Dodds and Houston Northcutt boulevards, Mount Pleasant police Maj. Stan Gragg said.
A medical condition apparently caused a 33-year-old woman to accelerate across the parking lot and smash the vehicle she was driving into the building, Gragg said.
Paramedics transported the woman to a local hospital, he said.
