The public may rent space and sell unneeded treasures at a June 1 Mega Yard Sale at Seacoast Church that will benefit Maia Moms, a local nonprofit organization that supports single mothers.
Vendors are encouraged to sign up now. For $10, each vendor will get about 200 square feet of space to display yard sale items.
Vendors keep all money earned from their sales. Vendor fees will support Maia Moms.
The Mega Yard Sale will be held in the parking lot of Seacoast Church’s main campus, 750 Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant. The event will run 7-11 a.m.
A local charity will pick up any unsold items that vendors would like to donate.
Maia Moms also will welcome donations of household goods and clothing.
To reserve a space or to donate items, contact Diane at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 971-1007. For more about the event, go to http://megayardsale.wordpress.com.
