SALISBURY, Md. — The Charleston RiverDogs (15-14) and the Delmarva Shorebirds (15-16) were rained out Wednesday at Perdue Stadium.
The two teams do not meet again this season and the game will not be rescheduled.
The RiverDogs are off today and will begin a seven-game homestand with the Hickory Crawdads and Savannah Sand Gnats starting Thursday at 7:05 p.m. at Riley Park.
In the series opener against the Crawdads, Charleston’s starting pitcher is to be determined. Hickory will start right-hander C.J. Edwards (2-1, 2.51 ERA).
