The Citadel defensive end Chris Billingslea signed a free-agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks following the end of the NFL Draft on Saturday, Bulldogs football coach Kevin Higgins confirmed tonight.
Billingslea, a 6-5, 265-pounder from Fort Mill, had 51 tackles for the 7-4 Bulldogs last season, with 9.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. He was named second-team all-Southern Conference by the league’s coaches after the 2012 season.
