Old hunting dog dispute has Dorchester council back looking at laws
SUMMERVILLE — Eight years ago, a spat between Oakbrook-area neighbors over kennelled hunting dogs spilled into to the courts, into the lap of Dorchester County Council and into loud, crowded public hearings.
But nothing ever came of it. A proposed livability ordinance ended up languishing in the county planning department.
The neighbors, though, are still at it. And Councilman Larry Hargett wants council to take another look at the livability law.
