Food Network casting locally for ‘Food Court Wars’
Ever fantasize about running a small restaurant? What if the rent were free for up to a year?
Are you ready to go to the mat for that dream in “Food Court Wars”?
The Food Network is looking for teams of local folks who already know each other — friends, family, couple or co-workers — who believe they have a winning formula to successfully run their own locally inspired and original eatery.
Two teams will compete head-to-head on a new show hosted by South Carolina’s own celebrity chef, Tyler Florence, and produced by Gordon Ramsay.
A local winner will get a restaurant space rent free for a year within one of Charleston’s malls, a prize said to be worth up to $100,000.
The deadline to apply is Monday.
