Twenty top-ranked high school teams competed for The Low Country Classic championship held at The Plantation Course at Edisto Beach.

Pendleton claimed the championship title with a 36-hole total team score of 589, followed by Bishop England at 592 and Christ Church Episcopal at 598.

The medalist for the event was Carson Young of Pendleton with a two-day total of 135. Riverside’s Jonathan Hardee, who tied the tournament course record on Saturday with a 65, was runner-up with 138.

The eight-man all-tournament team was led by Young, Hardee, Andrew Novak (Academic Magnet), Austin Langdale (Pendleton), Patrick Ging (Bishop England), Katelyn Dambaugh (Pinewood Prep), Trace Crowe (Easley) and JD Lehman (Hilton Head Christian).
