A Berkeley County man was arrested today after deputies said they found a meth lab in his house.
Members of the sheriff’s drug-enforcement unit were executing a search warrant at 431 Surfside Drive near Goose Creek when they found a meth lab, about 2.2 grams of meth, about a half gram of pot and weapons in the house, according to Berkeley County sheriff’s office spokesman Dan Moon.
Scott Michael Grimm, 34, who lives at the house, was arrested and charged with manufacturing meth, possession with intent to distribute meth within a half mile of a school or playground, exposing a child to meth and simple possession of marijuana.
Grimm is being held in the Berkeley County jail.
