Barring the forecasted rain, former champions Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki will take center stage Thursday at the Family Circle Cup.
Wozniacki, the 2011 FCC champion, is set to begin the day at 11 a.m. on Billie Jean King Court against wild-card entrant Andrea Petkovic.
Williams, ranked No. 1 and seeking her third Family Circle Cup title, takes on American qualifier Mallory Burdette in match that won’t start before 1 p.m.
Samantha Stosur, the 2010 Family Circle Cup champ, gets the night match at 7 p.m. against another qualifier, Canadian Eugenie Bouchard.
