Patriots Point Development Authority will meet at 10 a.m. today for a special closed-door meeting to discuss legal and contractual issues related to the proposed Medal of Honor Museum and the state loan for the restoration of the warship Laffey.
The board may tweak its contract for the Medal of Honor Museum to appease members of the State Budget and Control board, which must sign off on the deal since Patriots Point is a state agency, according to Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette. No action is expected on the Laffey loan, he said.
