After leading Charleston Souther to a weekend sweep of UNC Asheville, the Buccaneers’ Zack Hagaman was named the Big South Conference baseball player of the week.
Hagaman, a junior from Pawley’s Island, batted .471 with eight hits and nine RBI to lead the Buccaneers to a 3-1 record last week, including a series sweep over Big South foe UNC Asheville.
The Bucs’ designated hitter notched three doubles and three homers in the series with the Bulldogs to finish the weekend with a slugging percentage of 1.176.
