The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office this morning identified a motorcyclist found dead Thursday in a wreck in Harleyville.
James Marrale, 51, was riding a motorcycle on Johnson Road when he apparently ran off the road, Coroner Chris Nisbet said.
A passerby found Marrale about 3 p.m. on Thursday and alerted authorities, Nisbet said. Marrale was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
An autopsy is scheduled for today to determine whether Marrale died from injuries sustained during the wreck or a possible heart episode, Nisbet said.
