One of the understudies for the new Broadway presentation of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” had a catastrophic opening night: He got catapulted from his job.
Montie, a black and white stunner, was, it seems, uncooperative — categorically so.
He will be replaced by Moo, according to The New York Post.
Vito Vincent, who has the starring cat role, meanwhile is negotiating for a nightly car and driver.
And Montie? Well, he’s in the catbird seat anyway. His owner is Babette Corelli who helped with training and casting the cats. He can stick around the catwalks as long as he wants.
Even for cats, it’s apparently not what you know but who.
