French cookware maker Le Creuset will celebrate the grand opening of its North American marketing and culinary center April 18 in Charleston.
The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the new L’Atelier center at 116 Ripley Point in West Ashley. Charleston Mayor Joe Riley will cut the ribbon at 2 p.m., followed by a press conference. From 3-5 p.m., the facility will be open for tours, cooking demonstrations and a cake cutting.
Le Creuset Chairman Paul Van Zuydam will also attend the ceremony with Le Creuset CEO Faye Gooding as well as some of the city’s tops chefs.
