For Curtis Bostic, there’s no debate about it: Mark Sanford, Bostic’s GOP opponent in the 1st congressional district runoff, is far better at a podium.
“I think Mark may be the best debater I have ever seen,” Bostic said today. “He presents very well, and I admire his ability in that regard.”
Voters will be able to judge for themselves next Thursday, when Sanford, a former governor, and Bostic, a former Charleston County Councilman, are set to face each other at a forum at Charleston’s Porter-Gaud School.
That might be the only joint appearance between them before the April 2 runoff.
