WESTMINSTER — Authorities say a Westminster man died when the tractor he was driving rolled over on him.
Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says 43-year-old Terry Ray Land was killed in the accident that happened Saturday evening when the tractor rolled over on Land. The tractor didn’t have a rollover protection bar.
Addis said today that Land was found by family members who searched for him when he wasn’t at home. He says it appears Land may have taken a bale of hay to a horse pasture.
Land died of traumatic asphyxiation.
