Clemson baseball game postponed due to weather
Staff report
Today’s baseball game between Clemson and Wright State scheduled for 4 p.m. at Clemson has been postponed because of the threat of storms in the area.
The two teams are now scheduled to open the three-game series with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Both games will be nine-inning contests and there will be approximately 30 minutes in between the games.
Doug Kingsmore Stadium will be cleared in between the games on Saturday, therefore fans must have a separate ticket for each game. Once all fans have left the stadium after the first game of the doubleheader, the gates will open for fans to enter for the second game of the doubleheader.
For season ticketholders and fans who have purchashed tickets to the first two games of the series, the following will honored for entry into the stadium on Saturday:
• Friday’s tickets will be honored for the second game of the doubleheader on Saturday (approximate start time of 4 p.m.).
• Tickets purchased for Saturday’s game will be honored for the first game of the doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m.
