Registration for Goose Creek baseball, softball and T-ball is open through Feb. 16 at the Goose Creek Community Center and the Casey Community Center.
A birth certificate and two proofs of residency (driver’s license and a current utility bill with a Goose Creek address) are required.
The cost is $45, and players will receive a team jersey, pants, hat and socks. Players must provide their own gloves, shoes and batting helmet. Ages for baseball leagues are as of April 30. Softball ages are as of Jan. 1.
Ages for baseball and T-ball are: T-ball (boys and girls), 4-5; machine pitch single A, 6-7; modified machine pitch/kid pitch double AA (7-year-olds must have played one year of single A), 7-8; minors, 9-10; majors, 11-12; and juniors, 13-14.
All softball leagues are fast pitch and girls may play in baseball leagues. Softball ages are: machine pitch, 6-8; minors, 9-10; majors, 11-12; and juniors/seniors, 13-16.
