Richard I. Eisenstadt has been named chief financial officer of Ridgeville-based ArborGen, where he is responsible for the finance, treasury and investor-relations functions. He also is an executive business partner to CEO Andrew Baum. Eisenstadt has more than 30 years of finance experience in the health care, life sciences and emerging technology industries. Previously, he was CFO of Tranzyme Pharma. He has a bachelorís degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a masterís degree in business administration from James Madison University.
Stacy Jordahl has been named vice president for oilfield chemicals and biochemicals technologies at MWV Specialty Chemicals in North Charleston. Previously, he was vice president for pine chemicals. He has been with company since 1999 and has worked in sales, sales management, and business development roles.
John Mistak has joined URS Corp. as an electrical project engineer in the North Charleston office. He has 10 years of experience in nuclear plant and facility operations, system engineering, design and construction.
