Bob McNamara has been named associate provost and dean of The Citadel Graduate College. Previously, he was associate dean of evening undergraduate studies and director of the 2 + 2 program in criminal justice at the military college. He has a bachelorís degree in justice and law administration from Western Connecticut State University and a masterís degree in sociology and criminal justice from Southern Connecticut State University. He also has two masterís degrees and a doctorate in sociology from Yale University.
Candace Mitchell has joined URS Corp. as a project manager in the urban development division of the firmís North Charleston office. She has 12 years of experience in site development and transportation design. She has a bachelorís degree in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina.
Frances Porcher and Keaton Leigh Mims have joined Coastal Pediatric Associates as pediatric nurse practitioners.
Porcher has a bachelorís degree in nursing from Clemson University and advanced degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Previously, she was with the Medical University of South Carolinaís pediatric emergency and critical care division.

J. Raleigh West III has joined Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd PA as an associate attorney in the firmís Charleston office.
