Clemson routs Wake Forest 60-44 to even ACC record

CLEMSON — A highlight reel could have been completed on K.J. McDaniels’ efforts alone today in a 60-44 over Wake Forest, which evens Clemson’s record in ACC play (10-6, 2-2 ACC).

McDaniels blocked six shots, often in forceful manner, and also had four dunks en route to a team-best 14 points on 6 of 13 shooting. McDaniels added nine rebounds.

McDaniels highlighted a energetic defensive effort from Clemson. The Tigers limited Wake Forest to 26.7 percent shooting in the first half, a season-best mark for a half by Clemson.

Wake leading scorers C.J. Harris (eight points) and Travis McKie (12 points) below their scoring averages of 15 points per game.

For Clemson, Milton Jennings was limited due to foul trouble and had only five points. Devin Booker had 12 points and eight rebounds.

Jordan Roper (ankle) returned and hit three 3s.
