LSU star punter Brad Wing suspended for Chick-Fil-A Bowl game against Clemson
LSU has confirmed that All-American sophomore punter Brad Wing will not play for the Tigers against Clemson in the Dec. 31 Chick-fil-A Bowl at the Georgia Dome.
NOLA.com reported Thursday that Wing, a colorful left-footed kicker from Melbourne, Australia, would miss the game for undisclosed reasons.
Wing likely will be replaced by fellow Australian Jamie Keehn, a freshman from Queensland.
LSU Coach Les Miles could not be reached for comment.
No. 9 LSU is a 5-point favorite over No. 14 Clemson in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
