One man shot another man three times after they argued about car repairs, according to Charleston police.
The incident happened about 8:20 p.m. Friday outside Martin Brothers Automotive on Clements Ferry Road on Daniel Island. Police said 23-year-old Bernard Aaron Green and 35-year-old Warren Martin, who worked at the automotive shop, squabbled about the repairs at the dead end of the road.
Green shot Martin three times, according to police, and an acquaintance of Martinís drove him to Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital for treatment.
Paramedics later transferred Martin to Medical University Hospital. Police said his injuries were not life threatening, but they did not disclose late Saturday where on the body Martin was wounded.
Officers arrested Green on charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. He was booked into the Charleston County jail.
