Westbound lanes of I-526 appear to be back to normal after dump truck loses load on Westmoreland Bridge
Traffic appears to be back to normal after a dump truck headed toward West Ashley lost its load on the Westmoreland Bridge. The incident happened about noon and two lanes of the bridge were closed to traffic as S.C. Department of Transportation officials cleaned up the mess, Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said.
Authorities have not been able to confirm the mess has been cleared but traffic cameras show traffic moving at a regular pace.
