Pedestrian killed by train, death considered a suicide
A train traveling southbound near Mabeline Drive struck and killed a pedestrian shortly before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Berkeley County Deputy Coroner Darnell Hartwell said.
The case is being investigated as a suicide.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene.
