The Berkeley Stags improbable run through the Class AAA playoffs that culminated in the District VII championship has come to an end, falling 12-0 to the Chapin Eagles in an elimination game.
Berkeley was never in the game, falling behind quickly in the first inning by a 3-0 score.
The Eagles, who lost 10-0 to St. James in their first round game, added 1 run in the second, 3 in the third and 5 in the fifth to put the game away.
