Guard at gated community charged with voyeurism
BLUFFTON -- Beaufort County deputies say a security guard at a gated community in Bluffton has been arrested after he was caught taping female co-workers in a bathroom.
Investigators said an employee at Rose Hill Plantation called deputies in March after finding a cell phone hidden in a toilet paper roll in the women’s restroom.
Deputies say 31-year-old Jeremy Mack used his cell phone to tape women in the bathroom several times and also exposed himself to a female guard as the two worked at the community’s guard shack.
Mack is charged with two counts of voyeurism and one count of indecent conduct. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney,
The manager of the community and the company that hires the security guards did not want to talk about the incident.
