Man killed, woman wounded during shooting at Dorchester County home
A 24-year-old man was killed and his roommate wounded early Sunday morning after someone kicked in the door of their Dorchester County home and started firing.
Daniel P. Robinson of 143 Brooks Loop in Summerville died at the scene from mutilple gun shot wounds, Coroner Chris Nisbet said.
His roommate, a 55-year-old female, was taken to a local hospital.
Nisbet said the shooting happened about 5:10 a.m. when unknown suspects kicked in the door and shot the two people inside.
Dorchester County Sheriff’s officials did not release any suspect information. Maj. John Garrison said the incident remains under investigation.
