Heffernan to speak
Julie Heffernan, associate professor of fine arts at Montclair State University, will discuss her work as a figurative painter on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Room 309 of the Simons Center for the Arts at 54 St. Philip St.
Heffernan has been named official guest juror for the the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art’s "Young Contemporaries 2012" exhibition. The exhibition opens March 29 at the Marion and Wayland H. Cato Jr. Center for the Arts at 161 Calhoun St.
