WARREN L. WISE: Harvick to help open Ollie's
Ollie's Bargain Outlet rolls into town Wednesday with marked-down deals and a chance to meet a NASCAR driver during its grand opening celebration.
The Pennsylvania-based retailer of closeouts, salvage and surplus merchandise will open at 9 a.m. in the former Circuit City store across from Northwoods Mall.
But for those who want to meet race car driver and Kiawah Island homeowner Kevin Harvick, the line will start forming at 7:30 a.m., and the first 250 people given tickets upon arrival will have a chance to meet and have their photos taken with Harvick starting at 10 a.m.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet operates 115 stores and is one of the sponsors of Harvick's racing team.
